Cape Horn 31XS

Treat Your Family & Friends

FSF Staff November 29, 2012

Building on the success of the high performing 31 Offshore, Cape Horn’s 31XS (extra seating) further increases its appeal to those who desire more creature comforts without sacrificing fishability. Adding storage and more family friendly attributes while preserving the unsinkable characteristics of all Cape Horn Boats was a must in the design of the XS.

Cape Horn 31XS

Providing a 10-year hull warranty and lifetime warranty on the transom, Cape Horn clearly stands behind their product. In order to obtain maximum quality control, every aspect of the build is handled in-house. In addition, limited production further enhances their unwillingness to sacrifice along any step of the build. Keeping in line with the impressive handling features Cape Horns are noted for, a 23° deadrise at the transom and 52° entry enables the 31XS to slice through the water with ease, while the large chines, strakes and notable bow flare provide an impressively dry ride.

The 31XS takes work and play very seriously, with a host of standard features most manufacturers would consider options. For anglers with a penchanct for fishing live bait, 30 and 60 gallon livewells keep pilchard and goggle eye happy and healthy, while 24 standard rod holders mean you wont have to leave anything at home. T-Top, freshwater/raw water washdowns, marine head and 700 quart insulated fishbox are only a sampling of the standard features on this new Cape Horn. Furthermore, the huge front seating is both comfortable and spacious, while providing an additional 572 quarts of storage below. Redefining offshore comfort, let Cape Horn’s 31XS make your dreams come true. Cape Horn Boats, 850.626.2211, capehornboats.com
