Sturtevant, Wis., October 28, 2015 – Evinrude announces an exclusive agreement as the official engine sponsor of the all-new, Wild West Bass Trail (WWBT). The Wild West Bass Trail, which debuts in January 2016, is the first of its kind to offer West Coast anglers the chance to participate in elite bass tournaments with the highest guaranteed payout.

In addition to sponsoring the trail, Evinrude will also offer a lucrative contingency program for all owners of Evinrude E-TEC engines model year 2007 or newer. Highlights of the program include:
$10,000 Payout at Pro/Am Events & Championship
If the winner is Evinrude compliant, he/she will win $10,000. If winner is not compliant, the highest placing Evinrude anglers will receive the following in order of finish: $5,000, $3,000 and $2,000.
$1,000 Payout at Team Events & Two Championships
If the winner is Evinrude compliant, he/she will win $1,000. If winner is not compliant, the highest placing Evinrude anglers will receive the following in the order of finish: $500, $300 and $200.
