While most everyone in the office would prefer to be chasing pelagics in the deep blue, I’d rather be chasing a little white ball on a tightly manicured fairway. Growing up in suburban D.C., that’s just how I spent my summers. I didn’t have access to a boat and while Ocean City, MD was within reach, the white marlin weren’t.

Following an eight year law enforcement stint, I headed south for a new perspective. Five years later, a beautiful wife and another college degree in tow, I happened upon the ‘hottest’ fishing publication to hit newsstands in decades.

The enthusiasm in this environment is contagious thanks to the inspirational leadership of Capt. Mike and his perpetual first mate, Leah.
