Priceless!
The look and expressions on my girlfriend's face, Debbie DeGiuseppe, was
nothing less than amazing when she hooked and successfully landed her first ever
sailfish. After gray-hounding around the boat several times, she had the fish at
boatside in 10 minutes on 20lb. class tackle. We managed to gently remove the
hook, quickly lift the fish into the boat for a quick picture, and release it back
to its watery domain in less than 15 seconds. Needless to say, she' now hooked and
loves reading every issue of your magazine. Thanks for all the great
tips.

Way to go Debbie!
That’s what it’s all about. Now you need to send
us a picture of you hoisting a big broadbill swordfish. Go get ‘em!
As an avid fan of your publication, I find that not only is the magazine of high quality, but the articles provide a great deal of depth as well. I just finished reading Addicted (July/Aug 2007). I can relate to Capt. Ron, he's definitely not alone. I grew up here in South Florida spending my youth fishing on piers, bridges and along many parts of the coast. Unfortunately, times are changing and little by little, we are losing these opportunities that were so precious to us - the same piers and bridges that many of us learned to fish from. This has promoted me to start a petition attempting to get our piers, bridges and coastlines back. Perhaps you and your readers can join us and the many supporters who have already signed up to make this happen. Check it out at: www.geocities.com/fishpetition
Thank you,
Carlos Berdeal
Hi Carlos,
You can count on us signing the petition. Kids and adults alike need “access.” Never stop fighting!
Hi
Guys, love the mag.
This
was our second trip out of Pensacola. Fishing along with Dylan Miller and Jesse
Johnson, as soon as we ran through Pensacola Pass, we knew this was our chance
to head for the hills. Seas were flat and our 19' Mako tore it up. We headed
straight for the Nipple, 30 miles south of Pensacola. To our delight, two miles
shy of reaching our destination we came across a fantastic weedline without a
single boat in sight. Every pass produced! Highlighting the day was this
monster 44 pound bull that literally ate two baits at once. He dragged two
anglers around the boat five or six times. Talk about a riot! Anyhow, thanks
for putting out such a great publication. Keep up the good work!
Derrick Miller
Hey Derrick,
Great catch! It’s not often you find a “lively” weedline
with no other boats in sight. Happy holidays, tight lines and screaming drags!
Dear Florida Sport
Fishing,
Just wanted to share this photo with you. Fishing along with
my two favorite fishing partners, my two sons Jonathon and Michael, we had a
great trip off the Florida Keys catching a bunch of dolphin and tuna. It would
really be a thrill to see the picture published. Thanks for all of the useful
tips.

Hi Bruce,
Family that fish together, stay together! Bet
you had tasty fish fingers that night. Yum!
To the Crew,
While on our way back to Port Everglades from a trip down to
Marathon, you can imagine our surprise when we hooked and landed the humongous
dolphin. We guestimated the fish at 50 pounds, but it sure could be more! What
do you think?

Hi Randee,
We think that no matter what that impressive fish weighs,
it’s a true trophy! Congratulations on such a fine catch.
