A Serious Offshore
Threat!
Sailfish Boats just released another model to add to their
already impeccable line-up, the 2860 CC. With attributes and accessories
capable of making even the most hardcore angler drool, Sailfish’s 2860 CC also
appeals to family needs with creature comforts including a spacious two person
leaning post, enclosed head compartment, ample fore seating, large in-deck
storage and oversized windscreen. When Sailfish’s highly qualified design team
set out to build the new 2860 CC, nothing was overlooked. With twin 225-quart
fish boxes located in the bow, an additional two 145-quart boxes in the floor
and a 94-quart cooler front helm seat with cushions, storage was one aspect
that was clearly not overlooked.

An Open-Fisherman With Racing Heritage!
With the added comfort of forward seating, Ocean Express’ all
new 32 Center Console is clearly the product of a company who knows how to
build fast, comfortable boats with all of the amenities you’d expect in a high-end
open-fisherman. The marriage of the two results in a hybrid performance/fishing
boat that deserves a lot more than a casual glance. A top speed of 70 MPH
simply means you’ll spend more time fishing and less time en-route, and the
race-proven design that makes it all possible translates into burning substantially
less fuel. In fact, at a very respectable 35 MPH cruising speed, the 32 CCFS provides
an incredibly smooth ride with an extended range of almost 500 miles when
powered by a pair of 300 HP Suzuki 4-stroke outboards with standard 260-gallon
fuel supply.

Delivering the
American dream!
Head-turning lines and built to perform, Century’s 2901 CC
has quickly become the cornerstone in the company’s line-up - one that fulfills
the needs of competitive and recreational offshore anglers. Loaded with a list
of standard amenities, it seems nothing on this newly-designed boat was
overlooked, especially storage. The 2901 features a pair of 277-quart insulated
cockpit boxes, two in-deck 60-quart boxes and two 60-quart boxes under the bow
seats. If all that weren’t enough, a full arsenal of terminal gear can be stowed
in lockable port and starboard tilt-out tackle trays. Comfort wasn’t overlooked
either as captain and crew remain well-protected under the standard hard-top equipped
with electronics box, lights and additional rod holders.

Introducing what many
have already described as the most exquisite pocket yacht to date – the 2008 Smith
45CDF.
Would you like to own a house in the Bahamas? How
about an island condo? We all would, but at today’s real estate prices, the
idea that there is more-bang-for-the-buck in a quality boat is quickly catching
on.
Now, of course, not just any boat could substitute for an
island home. However, a serious vessel that can negotiate the potentially
treacherous Gulf Stream with comfort and safety before slipping through the
reef and up onto one of the many breathtaking Bahamas’ beaches, now that would
do!

Making dreams an affordable reality!
I was recently invited to preview and sea trial the latest Runaway 32.
I must admit, the experience left me quite impressed. I also came to a
hard realization. I realized that when most consumers are in the market
for a new boat, they look straight towards well established boat
manufacturers with popular names, and in doing so, often miss out on
the opportunity of owning an exceptional vessel at a substantial
savings in cost. The Runaway 32 is one such boat.

Jaguar Marine’s 35 Open-Fish |

AS SEEN IN THE SEPT/OCT 2006 ISSUE
This Cat Roars!
Florida’s West Coast continues to rank as one of
the top have-to-fish places. Excellent big-game fishing and some of the
nation’s best bottom fishing start out at about 70 miles from shore,
and continue to get even better the farther out into the Gulf you go.
Over recent years, access to these ‘far from home’ prolific fishing
grounds has been limited to large sportfishing yachts with enough fuel
capacity, water, ice, and accommodations for a full crew to stay out
for multiple days. Today, with Jaguar Marine’s 35’ Open-Fish, these
same distant areas are now fishable on single day trips.
