Weather has been challenging but we have good fish if our timing works.

I have been unable to match clients and weather recently. Family priorities have kept me busy some of the time. Our waterways are quieter than they have been for years. We do have plenty of fish it’s just matching the day you have with fair weather.

INSHORE:

Instead of rigging rods, backing down a ramp or drooling over new tackle.......here I am watching Hanna dump rain and wind on us, wondering where Ike might just decide to land and wishing an untimely death to Josephine out there in the far distance.

INSHORE - The inshore fishing is still on the slow side due to all the fresh water run off. I did get reports of a few trout and redfish coming from around the islands to the north of the North Bridge in places like Jack Island, Queen's Cove and Round Island. Most of the fish were caught on a live finger mullet.
