I spent the last 5 days in key largo fishing, lobstering and spearfishing. We caught a little bit of everything: dolphin, wahoo, tuna, permit, mackerel, 5 different species of snapper, we caught a few lobsters, and I speared mutton snapper, yellowtail snapper, mangrove snapper, hogfish, and a 37" cobia. I got pics of every thing except the fish I speared because the camera was in the room charging and no one wanted to run up there to get it when we got back to the marina. I won't go into detail on all our trips because this post will be longer than anyone would want to read so I'll let the pics do most of the talking for me. I will say this: we went out morning and afternoon everyday for 5 days and we caught tons of small schoolie dolphin, well over 100, but only kept a few and released all the others. we wanted a big bull, but didn't get him this trip. We also pulled in 9 wahoo kept 4, 11 permit kept 2. all the permit were over 20", a bunch of snapper(my favorite fish to eat) we kept the snapper and of course all the speared fish and lobsters. It looks like I'll be having an all you can eat seafood buffet at my house for the next 2 weeks. needless to say, we ate fish for the last five days straight.
