Fishing Report November 12th, 2009

Compared to yesterday, today was a bust! It was overcast and the wind turned back out of the west. The water was clean, but it didn’t have the deep beautiful blue to it. We started out trolling up to the north with limited success. We caught one giant bomber bonito and a nice king mackerel. The fishing was slow for everyone.

Oct 15

Today we got chartered by Gorham Schaffer who was not on the trip but he sent down his # 1 sales men Chip to show Justin and Ron from Tenn. a great time here in Sunny South Florida.

I knew that they had a great time the night before by the way they were all moving or should I say not moving. (LOL)

Even though there were a few scattered showers, the crew was in high spirits.

TAMPA BAY FISHING NON STOP ACTION!

Daylight savings time has ended, and it’s beginning to cool down a bit. It is actually starting to feel like fall. The fish are also aware of the cooler temperatures and are moving into their fall areas. Over the next month, we are going to have some great fishing. Of course there will be days that we will have to dodge the wind, but it will be well worth it.

Fishing Report - Guatemalan Billfishing Adventures

It's been a while since the last report. We have been in Africa for 4 months, visiting with family and friends, hosting some foreign guests, presenting a few billfishing workshops and of course lots of time in the bush on photo safari's and hunting in Zimbabwe and South Africa. The Billfish Inn and the 'Decisive' have had their usual off-season touch-ups, the crew is rested and we are as ready as ever for another good season ahead of us.
