Nov 1 threw the 18th Fishing aboard the hooked Up
Nov 1
Today we had Renee and her husband Travis from Tampa Florida out for a few hours of deep sea fishing with us. Now let me give you a little back ground on Renee and Travis. They have their own boat and do a lot of fishing themselves when Travis is in town. Travis spends most of his time fighting for our freedom in the Middle East but as I understand it whenever he’s in town and the weather permits it they are out on their own boat. They just so happen to be in town for the Fort Lauderdale international boat show and had a morning open and that’s where I came into the picture.

Exclusive Report
Pete Donnelly, of Key Colony Beach FL and Spring Lake NJ, hosted a group of friends visiting from the Jersey Shore for a day of fishing with SeaSquared.
The original intent was to go to the far Gulf in search of cobia. However, due to the 30-40 knot winds, the course was changed and the group went for a half day of shark fishing instead.

It was another windy week as Ida made her way up the Gulf to Mississippi, and I didn't get out until Friday.
My trip was the first with Chris Heaphy and his lovely wife Jan, and his son Kyle, of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. Chris and I had corresponded back and forth quite a bit on email, and I could tell from that he would be great to have in the boat. His love of fishing and desire to learn came through in his writing.

Mosquito Creek Outdoors Indian River Lagoon Coast Fishing Report
As you step outside here in Orlando, you will clearly notice winter is in the air. Earlier this week, squally conditions brought on by a late season tropical blow, Ida, settled in across Florida and the southeast states and was eventually pushed out into the Atlantic by a cold front.

It has been two weeks since the wind started and it seems like it is never going to let up. It has made it almost impossible to fish offshore and very difficult to fish the rivers. We had a couple of decent days fishing near the inlet and around the bridges.

Jacksonville, St. Johns River Speckled Trout
11/17 - They're back....BIG time.
It always bothers me, when it's November and I'm not finding my Trout friends stacked up like cord wood, East of the boat ramp. Because this is "the time". And for numerous reasons to include gale force winds, high seas, winds from the East, lack of a decent tide. Are just some of the reasons why they seem to vacate the area. With the majority of the frustration, due to not having prime tides and or low winds.
