We made it though Tropical Storm Fay with little damage, but a lot of wet feet. The photo below of Everglades City Hall is courtesy of Mayra Repko

It has been a log time since sent an update, but here you go. A lot has been going on here in "Paradise" ... New boats, new location, new trips! WHAT'S New ...

Florida Sport Fishing

  • Tropical Storm Fay has passed (at least passed us!), the Dog Days of Summer are still dog-gone good and the July/August period is one of my personal favorites times to fish the Everglades. However, September and October offer up some of the best fishing of the year. Sept Forecast READ MORE

  • We have taken over JT's Island Grill and Gallery on Chokoloskee Island. We still have a long way to go, but it has already turned into a great gathering place. Come by for a "hello", to hang out, take a look at the fishing pictures or bring in your own! It is going to be a lot of fun!

  • Capt. Jesse released over 20 pompano and couple of cobia just before the Storm on a half-day charter. He is the Da' Man!

  • Vickie is back fishing (although still a bit fishing spoiled). She released a 28 lb permit on her last trip ... she'll be happy to tell you all about it! On the same trip Capt. Bruce released four very big snook ... one pushing 30 lbs. "Ringer Rich" jumped three tarpon as well.

  • The evening tarpon trips have been very good. We have been putting fish in the air on every trip. These trips are timed with the full and new moons, so they are limited each month ... a fine cigar, adult beverages and tarpon jumping at sunset ... Hmmm!

  • Sight fishing has been good, but the window of opportunity is pretty short. The seasonal rains have brought a big influx of fresh, tannin stained water. This limits your opportunities and time frame as the off-colored water is hard to see through as the water deepens with the tide. A sight fished snook in the shallows ... What can be better?

  • Please congratulate the winners of this month's drawing for the free fishing trip!! Jon Kraus (Superior, Co) Joshua Cox (Jacksonville, Fl) Diego Jimenez(Aventura, Fl) Remember, you must register for each drawing to be eligible to win. Click here for more info on the Kayak Fishing Trips

  • We are pleased to be able to now offer secure, online booking for all our trips. Please never hesitate to call about any of the charters, to personally work out the details of your fishing trip, discuss accommodations, or anything! We will always be here for you. Click for online booking.

  • We will be posting the dates for the upcoming National Park fishing/camping trips very soon ... the first will be in October!

  • For Sale - 1999 Maverick Mirage 2 Flats Skiff. This is the quintessential flats boat - the Tradition. Excellent condition, custom rigged, ready to fish and priced to sell ... Click for more information
