Well, folks! Changing times call for new ideas. The fishing guide business has been under assault since 9/11, which really rocked us. Two bad hurricane seasons, red tides, the real estate crisis, and now ever higher fuel prices have all served to pin us on the ropes. Some guides are going to a $100/hour rate with a four hour minimum. Some have increased rates again to try to compensate for the elevating cost of fuel.

I'm going to take a different approach. I'm hearing that more and more folks are taking "staycations" instead of vacations away from home. That makes good sense. With hopes of appealing to some of you who are taking staycations, or are vacationing fairly close to home, I am offering a REDUCED rate which will hopefully allow you to include a fishing trip as part of your vacation.

For the months of June and July I am offering a $75 price reduction to my regular fare of $450 for my 3/4 day trip, for a discounted rate of $375! The money you save in fuel alone by not traveling long distances may be more than enough to pay for a fishing trip. I am making this offer available only to my customers in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama, who are within easy traveling distance.

So, email or call me today and reserve your date for a great fishing trip right here in southwest Florida, and enjoy the savings and the fun.

Looking forward to seeing you soon.
