DR Sport Fishing

I am on the Nushagak RIVER IN ALASKA as usual we have a good run of kings coming.There has been over 65000 kings threw the sonar already and is only the 1st of july. They have perdicted 160,000 to enter the river this year and we sure have a good start at this time. Our clients that have been here so far have all went home with plenty of vacum-packed fish. We were boon-doging for a few day,s and know we are  back trolling as the fish have completly filled the river system. They are bitting egg,s and kwickfish either back bounced or with diver,s. There is still plenty of time to jump on a plane and head up. Or come up in august/september for silver salmon they will be arriving around the 25th of july. 

      There has been plenty of big Dorado and Marlin in the Golfito area along with sailfish up in our northern region,s of Tamarindo,Flamingo. Rich in Los Suenos reported good sailfishing off shore and some nice big roosters for in-shore fishing. Keep in mind you  need to be thinking of your winter trips south and get them scheduled.

You need to be thinking about next season December,January,Febuary,March for our primetime sailfish,Dorado fishing season. Please don't forget all the Marlin we raised in those same month's this year as they will be right back there to do it again.        We our offering excursion's out to COCO'S Island off shore here in COSTA RICA about 350 miles out into the pacific ocean. There you will see, as you have never imagined before fish of all species and in numbers hard to believe. MARLIN,SAILFISH,DORADO,WAHOO,TUNA,SNAPPER'S,GROUPER,and everything else. You will be living aboard some of the nicest boat's avaliable here in Costa Rica from 60' Bertrem's on up to a 96' custom yaught the food will be cooked by profesional chef's and for sure you won't go hungry. These excursions are usally a week to ten days but can be customized to fit your schedule. This is a trip of a life time forsure only for the die-hard hard-core fisher women and men it is great for couples or a group of guys. You will witness fishing like you have never imagined before along with wildlife of all kinds  Dolpin's, Whale's, Turtle's.

        Keep in mind I will be venturing off to Alaska again this season to host some trip's on the Nushagak river out of Dillingham. There you will find the very best King Salmon and Coho Salmon  fishing in the world. We will be catching 10-20 king's per-day per person  along with even  better  Coho fishing when they show up the end of july. The Coho fishing is outrages for both the conventional and fly fishermen. They will average 10 lb's and be thicker then you could imagine, plenty of them that even kid's can catch them on fly's.Thes fish are all fresh right from the sea and fantastic vacum packed for the trip home ready for the barbacue. Also don't forget the Oregon coast in September and October for fall king's as I will be fishing for my 28th season in the Tillamook, Nehalem bay's for big King Salmon. Last year's largest was 56 lb's and we also had several in the 40 lb bracket.
