On our trip up north my wife Shirley always looks forward to trout fishing with her fly rod. After loosing the first 3 trout she finally landed the big one 10 lb rainbow. I took the picture with the fly rod next to it so you can get an idea how big this one ways. Caught on a Henderson fly. There are 3 big Trout swimming around with Henderson flys on the tip of there lip. Hard to hold these big fish with 6lb test leader unkess you let them run till you wear them out. Shirley doesn't like to wear out the fish so theyt survive. This one was kept for a trout meal all others were released. Captain Frank wasn't allowed to fish as this was Shirleys chance to shine. Captain frank back on Lake St. clair till end of October then down to Key West For the winter till May.
