April 28th, 2008 THIS WEEK: The Gulfstar will fish Half Day trips every day this week except Tuesday. Capt. Rich will welcome the Sol Rivita Fishing Club from Orlando, FL on board for a private 8 Hour charter on that day. The Superstar has another 8 Hour All Day trip planned for Monday, April 28th and the 44 Hour Middle Grounds trip on Friday, May 2nd. Capt. Carl has decided to stick around for the American Red Snapper season opening on June 1st. The Superstar is scheduled to start running in Montauk, NY by the 2nd week of June, so we’ll squeeze in some ARS fishing on the May 30th 44 Hour Middle Grounds trip. As usual, reservations are required on all trips, so call us at 727-938-5300 ASAP!!! 16 Hour Extended Day Report Captain Jerry took the Gulfstar out on a 16 Hour Extended Day trip this past Thursday (04/24/08) and fishing was great! We had a light load of people, and ended up with 27 keeper gags up to 19 lbs! There were many quality fish in the mix, with an average of 14 lbs a keeper! There were also a couple mangos in the mix to 4 lbs, and lots of grunts and sea bass! Capt. George says the weather was fantastic as well! Dave from NY was out with his dad as well as his son, and they had a blast!
