Hildebrandt® Targets Redfish Market With New Drum Roller™ Spinnerbait

Granger, WA – Hildebrandt’s® , a Yakima Bait Company® brand, has just completed development and testing of its new Drum Roller™ spinnerbait series. Developed by longtime tournament pro, writer and lure designer, Bernie Schultz, the Drum Roller™ is a natural for redfish and other tidewater species, as well as all species of bass.

“We took our time developing this exciting new bait”, started Schultz, “We wanted it to be right by making every effort to address the fine details that Hildebrandt’s® long been known for.”

“The Drum Roller™ was designed with a lifelike appearance that includes 3D gel eyes, accented gills, and minnow-like profile with natural airbrush finish, giving it tremendous appeal right out of the package. We went the extra mile by sourcing Z-Man’s® ElaZtech® grub body that’s super durable with an incredible swimming action. We also color-coordinated the head and grub body for optimum appeal. Of course, the Drum Roller™ comes with Hildebrandt’s® superior blade design that features their trademark brilliant, heavy-plated finish. But it also features our exclusive Quick-Change blade and jighead feature that’s unique to the Drum Roller™ . The jighead is molded of pure tin, which is harder, transmits vibration and sound better, and is lighter by volume than lead. This enables the Drum Roller™ to remain high in the water column when retrieved at slower speeds—a very desirable advantage over lead spinnerbaits when fishing super shallow flats. Simply put, we didn’t cut any corners on this new spinnerbait!

The Drum Roller™ comes in 5/8-ounce and is available in three blade sizes (Nos. 3, 3-1/2 and 4). It features a stout wide-gap, super sharp hook that’s fully corrosion resistant.
