FOND DU LAC, Wis. – Mercury Maine is excited to announce its continued business relationship with Navico, the world leader in marine electronics and the parent company of renowned brands Lowrance, Simrad and B&G.
Mercury and Navico first partnered in 2006 with the introduction of Mercury’s VesselView, a premium engine-information display system. The highly successful relationship will continue through the next generation of VesselView products, which is scheduled to launch during the first half of 2013.
“Teams from Mercury and Navico worked together flawlessly to produce two products with a game-changing user interface and enhanced features,” said Louis Miller, manager of digital controls and rigging products for Mercury.
The superior abilities, experiences and expertise of Navico and Mercury Marine will result in propulsion display enhancements and features unavailable on any other products.
“Mercury looks forward to working with Navico on the next chapter of VesselView. Our partnership allows the strengths of both companies to come together and produce a fantastic electronic display, with Mercury DNA throughout and Navico’s display and technical knowledge embedded in the manufacturing,” said Miller.
