Lower Keys Fishing Report

The term a little bit of everything just about sums up this past weeks fishing.  There was something going on from gulf to the deep ocean.  We had a few days of nice weather that gave most boaters a chance to sample some of the bites going on.  It looks like we are moving into a stable weather pattern which should coincide with some good fishing. 

Offshore was a mix of species while trolling.  Some nice dolphin have been moving in and this should just be the start of it.  Look for birds, rips and weed lines to tip you off to the fish’s location.  Rigged ballyhoo and ballyhoo lure combinations work well and most fish we saw were more than willing to aggressively feed.  If there is not a lot of fishy signs out there try concentrating your efforts around the local wrecks.
