Fishing report from D. M. Navarro @ the World Class Angler in Marathon.

Here we are at holiday time again and I can tell you is that now is a very good time to go fishing. Most of you are going to have an extra few days off with the holidays and things are great on the water. Even if the weather conditions are against you as far as getting to your favorite spots, there are still plenty of options open to you with excellent activity available.

WEATHER: Our coldest night this week was last night as the reading on the meter showed 65 degrees. All the other days it has been in the high 60’s. Our daytime highs have been in the high 70’s to low 80’s and we had a clear Christmas day, but clouds have moved into the area since then.

As we ring in the New Year, it is once again time to reflect back on the events and accomplishments of 2008, and to count our many blessings. We are truly blessed to live in Central Florida where angling and spending time on the water are year round endeavors. I am also thankful for another great year of fishing with my clients and friends on the esteemed waters of the Indian River Lagoon estuary. Thank you all for a year filled with adventure on the water, and many great memories.
