INSHORE:

Finally! After a couple weeks of battling the flu, I was able to get back on the water and do some scouting around the river. It turned out to be a wonderful weather day with light winds to make it a warm welcome back to the river. It looks like the weekend will be a fantastic opportunity to get out fishing. The fish are out there, so plan a trip out soon!

Guatemala Sailfish School Reports

December 5 through 17, 2008

I left for Guatemala from Raleigh with a lay over in Miami on December 5th, when I arrived in Miami I met up with my friend Pat Ford who would travel with me and photograph some of my Sailfish Schools along with the newly completed Casa Vieja Lodge. I was feeling bad and told the AA agent who then called the EMT's to the concourse to check me out. They determined that I had elevated blood pressure and an irregular pulse and they decided to hold me over in the Metropolitan Hospital to make sure that I was OK. I was told that American Airlines would retrieve my baggage from the flight and lock it up until I came back to claim it.

Tampa Bay Amazes

Tampa Bay has been adorned with Chamber of Commerce weather the last week. Warm sunny days with light winds are inviting. The trout bite continues Hot! Canals with dark muddy bottoms are holding an amazing amount of spotted sea trout.
