Florida Keys Tarpon Fishing Report
May 25, 26, 27, 2008

Greetings from Tarpon World
May 25, 2008,
    Rich Christians from Saint Petersburg, FL and Tony Reinhardt from Missoula, MT are here in Marathon for 6 days of Tarpon Fly Fishing with me. We began with 15 knot wind from the Northeast, as we fished the morning on the ocean side flats near Big Pine Key, where we saw some deep unhappy Tarpon. At 1 PM we moved up to the 7 mile bridge flats, and began seeing fish late in the afternoon. One of the schools coming from the East swam right at our boat at which time Tony made a good presentation to one of the females in the group. She ate the fly and Tony set the hook, and then the hook came out at the big Tarpon jumped. We had more shots however that was our only bite.

May 28th , Florida Keys Fishing Report

Captain Frank was a guest of captain Ken Domanski  aboard the GREAT WHITE and fished for Yellow tail snappers, The first one caught was this big 26" Yellowtail  It's the biggest one I've ever caught says Captain Frank. We ended up with our limit and sanppers and boogied on home to Key West after a fun day on the ocean.

May 27th fishing report

Hello,

May arrived in full swing with anglers full of energy and excitement who were looking forward to their Central Belize experience at Belize River Lodge.  We are running a bit behind in getting out the fishing report for April.  Mike intended to write it earlier, but kept excellent notes of angling activity and I intended to send it out last week, yet here we are the middle of May, and busy.  Without further adieu, here is the latest fishing report and we hope that you enjoy it!  

 Also, please remember that space is open for fishing during the summer and fall 2008 and that we are taking bookings for the spring 2009.
