Tarpon Action Heats Up

Tarpon are Rolling! Bonefish are schooling!! Permit are Tailing!!!

Tarpon have been roaming the flats as of late in small pods on the Atlantic side and in some areas of the sandy Gulf side flats. That action should really heat up during the next several weeks as the waters warm into the 80's. We recently helped to conduct the Bonefish Census for the Tarpon and Bonefish Trust.

There are some Bonefish here and there, but the best action is still to come.
This is a 20 pound Permit caught on a Tarpon fly.

Fishing Report

As the waters warm up into the 80's during the next month or two, more waves of Tarpon, Bonefish, and Permit should be showing.
Our Father (Mother) - Son (Daughter) Key West Flats Fishing Trips are now scheduled for throughout the winter, spring, summer and fall.
