The Sundowner Mongo was the original and the design came from a lure that Norm Isaacs had great success with. Norm had actually modified an old Kona scoop nose to create a straight swimmer. Now with five different sizes there's a Mongo for every occasion. The blunted face causes this shape to swim with a lazy alternating pop. Makes an easy target for all predators. The flat-cut nose style runs well in all sea conditions and handles at highe trolling sppeds. Another competition winner, the Large Mongo has excelled in the wahoo and marlin divisions. Macho Tube |

The Macho Tube or Rumble Tube is a marlin magnet. This resurection of an original Henry Chee tube will light up your spread. Designed especially for those calm days when a little chaos is necessary, the Macho Tube rumbles and pops throwing a long tubular bubble trail. My favorite position for this aggressive lure is the short corner or short rigger.

In the wiggle and swim category, nothing beats a Beauty. Designed to run with a tight side-to-side motion this explosive swimmer will catch ono, mahi and those finicky marlin. Winner of thousands of dollars in Gulf tournaments and a star in the 2002 San Juan International, this is a proven competition winner. The Medium Beauty is one of my oldest and most reliable designs. This lure runs well in all sea conditions. My favorite position for the Beauty is short corner or short rigger.

EZ-Nut |

The EZ-Nut has a deadly effect on fish. This classic design has a modified nose bevel and balanced weight for added control. Explosive and sizzling swim action make it an ideal lure for big billfish and tuna. Following in the footsteps of their larger sibling, The Medium and Small EZ Nut are equally designed to raise fish from the deep. Disco Ball |

The Medium Disco Ball is a favorite Hawaiian design. The bulb on the aft half of this lure causes a nice wobbling action. It pops, swims, and wobbles seductively. Medium Disco Balls catch them all, but wahoo can't resist the boogie action. Great for light tackle applications.

Magic Bullet |

The Magic Bullet is the perfect offshore trolling lure. Demonstrating the deadly "black water ruffle", Magic alternates between surface popping and a below surface rippling effect that imitates a baitfish just under the surface. The original design for this piece came from the end of a broom handle. A classic straight running lure, the Magic Bullet is excellent for catching marlin, tuna, and all blue-water gamefish. In 2002 an estimated 700 lbs. blue marlin was released on the Magic Malolo by the crew of the Foxy Lady in Haleiwa, HI.

The Dominator is a lure that lives up to its name, drawing more strikes than other lures of similar size. The steep nose bevel drives this lure in erratic bursts of activity, imitating scared and fleeing baitfish. Works best on an outrigger or shotgun position. Cooler Bait

Named for it's simple ability to fill the cooler, the Cooler Bait design has bagged it's share of meat fish. Yellow fin tuna crash on this unique lure and it's responsible for at least one grander black marlin captured in Australia. The Cooler Bait runs with a deep long bubble trail followed by the "black water ruffle", and then, Whoosh, extra smooth and smoky. This slightly less aggressive swimming action appeals to the tuna and wahoo alike. Favorite position for this lure is the long rigger. Always a positive addition to the spread...

E.L.O.

E.L.O. is one of my oldest and dearest designs and represents one of my early lathe-cut lures. The simplicity of this shape has endured the test of time. By far one of my favorites, the E.L.O. has a beautiful and smooth pop and swim. A medium large head that works equally on meat fish and monsters, too. For the best results, run this one on the long corner or outrigger position. The electric light orchestra likes to be out in clean water.

The Machine

The Machine is my favorite big fish lure. It produces big marlin wherever it goes. This large pear shape swims like a fish, bashing the surface like a feeding tuna or mackerel. One of Darrin Isaacs 'best bait and switch lures of all time'. A must have item for big blue or black marlin. Runs well in rough water. The Smash Bait is the largest of the legendary tube designs. Smash Bait earned its name in the blue waters of Hawaii and with its reputation for big fish around the world. The Mistake lure is one of my best lures of all time. The original Mistake was an accident. The shape is the same as the Small Beauty but the insert is pure magic. The special glass used in this piece is a fusion of color and light. It glows and swims like a healthy live bait. Out performs other lures of similar size.
