2009 – NEW Rep Groups

Ontario, Calif., - Okuma Fishing Tackle USA is pleased to announce that we have made several key changes in our rep groups on both coasts of the Nation.

Effective January 1st, 2009 - Okuma’s interests and sales in the North East will be managed by the Alliance Sports Group of Columbus Georgia.

Principal Reps Larry Easterwood and Randal Gordon have a long and distinguished relationship with Okuma Fishing Tackle and have been representing our lines in the South East since Okuma USA began operations. Those familiar with ASG know that the respect they have earned in the outdoor industry is well deserved for all of their lines and in all of the territories they manage, and Okuma Fishing Tackle and ASG are excited about this territory consolidation and look forward to making further inroads in an already successful market.

Effective January 1st, 2009 - Industry powerhouse rep group Jeff Robles & Associates begin representing Okuma Fishing Tackle for the southern part of the US West Coast as well as in the Central and Southern Mountain States. Aggressive, informed, committed and conscientious are only a few of the many words you can use to describe JRA, and the group brings to the table a well deserved reputation of being one of the “Best of the Best” when it comes to sporting goods representation. JRA and Okuma Fishing Tackle look forward to taking on an extremely tough and competitive west coast market, capitalizing on Okuma’s combination of reliability, innovation and value along with JRA’s incredible industry knowledge.
