All-Release Boat Harbour Billfish Challenge
When: April 14-17
Where: Abaco Beach Resort What: A challenge dedicated to Billfish conservation, this tournament will raise money for the Marsh Harbour Fire Department. It’s for anglers of all levels and the focus is to get back to basics. Winner will receive a cash prize and other events will also take place surrounding the competition.

Bertram-Hatteras Shootout
When: April 27- May 1

What: The Shootout is a battle of yachts between two legendary sports-fish manufacturers. This will be the 30th anniversary of the event and guests can expect a big party on top of a bigger competition. The Shootout is rooted in long-standing traditions, and this year will be no different as Hatteras yachts are pitted against Bertram yachts.

Boy Scouts Bahamas Open
When: May 12- May 15

What: As the first leg of the three-legged Bermuda Triangle Series, the ‘Boy Scout Bahamas Open’ is one of the most prestigious fishing events around. Started in 1972, and benefiting the Boy Scouts of America, this tournament lures some of the best anglers in the world with three days of great fishing. What: The internationally renowned BBC is the oldest billfish tournament series in the world. It is a five-tournament series based in the Out Islands and will certainly offer some steep competition. Participants can accumulate points for sailfish, spearfish, white marlin and blue marlin. In turn, the BBC champion will be named for the year.
