New paintings, Magazine articles, and Mote Marine Art Contest Best of Show
February and March have been some exciting months at the KSCOTT studio. After the Miami Boat Show, work has flooded K.C.'s easel. He has finished a piece for Blue- water Promotion's "Saltwater Classic Series" Kingfish events.
His work will be displayed and used as trophies for the winners of each of the 11 events begining in April going through September. Also, his work was featured in the World Billfish Series " 2010 Official Guide to Billfishing". To top it all off, "Twilight's Last Rise" took BEST OF SHOW in Mote Marine's 55th Anniversary Juried Art Exhibition!

"Pacific Stripes" is K.C.'s vision of the Striped Marlin that congregate off the coast of Cabo San Lucas late every year. The 36x48 original is available, but if the original is not in your interest, Limited Edition Giclee prints are available at www.kscottart.com.

K.C. was commissioned to create an image for the 2010 "Saltwater Classic Series" season that consist of 11 events beginning in April and finishing up in September. It will be featured for advertising, boat and truck wraps, and prints that will be awarded to the winning team of each individual event.
Mote Marine Laboratory based out of Sarasota, Florida has been a leader in marine research since it was founded in 1955. They are one of the nation's largest ocean research centers. They helped celebrate their 55th Anniversary by holding a Juried Art Exhibition. Pieces were selected by jurors Jack Dowd, a nationally recognized contemporary social realist artist, and Lourdes and Robert Ziegenfuss, art collectors and gallery curators. With this said, K.C. entered "Twilight's Last Rise" and took home the award of "BEST OF SHOW"!

The 2010 Official Guide to Billfishing Magazine affiliated with the World Billfish Series, W.B.S. has an artist feature with K.C.'s work. The World Billfish Series is know as "The World's Richest Bluewater Fishing Events". Comprised of 60+ of billfishing's most prestigious tournaments in eight worldwide divisions, the WBS World Tour is fished by over 30,000 anglers. For K.C. it is an honor to have his work displayed on such a grand platform.
