The Red Frog Beach Development in Bocas del Toro Panama has announced that a new ownership group, Oceans Group International, has taken a controlling stake in this island project.

Oceans Group International is currently underway in the creation of a new vision for the Beach and Rain Forest Resort, which is now opened for vacation rentals in Bocas Del Toro and boat dockage at the newly completed Red Frog Marina. The new development plan will emphasize the biodiversity of the island and the unique natural amenities located in the region.

Oceans Group International is committed to the long-term environmental sustainability of its flagship project in Bocas Del Toro as the island is home to some of the most stunning scenery in Central America. Given the island’s proximity to the Bastimentos National Marine Park and four of the nicest beaches in Panama, the new partnership intends to focus on preserving and showcasing the areas “natural amenities” and the environment that exists in this island archipelago. As a reflection of this new commitment, the development footprint of the project will be scaled back considerably and up to 70% of project lands (over 1000 acres) will be preserved in perpetuity.

The new development plan for Red Frog Beach includes its recently completed Red Frog Marina, two new restaurants and a heightened focus on tourism and natural amenities to accommodate rainforest hikes, snorkeling, bird watching, sea kayaking, a zip line canopy tour, and native dug-out canoe adventures. The new vision for the project is important to Panama’s developing tourism industry and demonstrates a real commitment to the biodiversity of the island. The resort is planned to become one of the most alluring locations for a Bocas Del Toro Vacation that has access great beaches and so many natural amenities.

The Red Frog Beach Resort has begun to accept reservations for Bocas villa rentals as well as slip rentals at the new Marina.
