The offshore ready, flats-friendly Tournament 261 is built to the highest specifications for the most serious anglers. It’s based on the company’s 28-foot Aventura that sees service as both a long-range, custom fishing boat and a research vessel in the roughest weather conditions. The 261 is incredibly responsive, exceedingly dry, and represents the ultimate in refinements.

A huge bonus is its remarkable fuel efficiency. This is due to a relatively narrow beam and unique concave running surface (pad) with a 22-degree deadrise on either side. The pad gives the boat an efficient surface to run on as opposed to typical deep-V configurations, and offers a stable platform whether drift fishing or holding position while fighting a big fish. Bottom line – far less horsepower is needed to move the 261 compared to similar sized boats and you can expect an amazingly smooth, gentle ride. Aft of the console is a 40 gallon insulated live well beneath the seat that can double as a cooler, and a 30 gallon rounded live well behind it.
