Incorporating the latest advancements in optical bonding, backlighting circuitry, optical enhancement films and anti-glare/anti-reflective treatments to the external glass surface, AmbientNAV monitors deliver unparalleled performance and reliability to the boating community.
With models designed for daylight and for sunlight operation, AmbientNAV monitors offer industry leading contrast ratios and deliver incredible image clarity. The extremely efficient SeaEye electronic design reduces internal operation heat and the effects of ambient temperature, while advanced display technology minimizes solar thermal gain, eliminating blooming and black splotches associated with the breakdown of LCD crystals due to heat; this also eliminates the need for an internal fan. SeaEye monitors employ a fully enclosed aluminum and stainless steel case design as well as bonded glass, both of which serve to eliminate water egress, internal condensation, screen fogging and corrosion issues. SeaEye monitors also incorporate an easily accessible rotary knob that allows for smooth scrolling of the backlight adjustment from full brightness to barely visible for safe nighttime operation. AmbientNAV monitors are ideally suited for discriminating boaters who prefer the uniform esthetic’s of a glass bridge and are currently available at marine retailers, boat yards and marine retrofitters throughout the United States.
