Fish the Flats S-L-O-W-L-Y

Based on their famous Road Runner lure design, TTI-Blakemore Fishing Group recently introduced the new Salt-Runner label. Salt-Runners out-fish ordinary jigs because they appeal to more of the fish’s senses.

The blade provides flash for sight, sound for hearing, and the lure emits a unique vibration that ‘pings’ predatory fish’s lateral line. While the 18 Karat gold-plated blade spins effortlessly on its ball-bearing swivel, it allows for an ultra-slow retrieve for a longer, more methodical presentation. The Bleeding Bait® hook invites savage strikes towards the tail of the bait instead of at the blade.

Salt-Runners were designed to be fished with three- to four-inch soft-plastics. The extended “nose” of the bait provides blade clearance for shad and minnow imitations. Extensive testing was conducted in the Mosquito Lagoon, Charlotte Harbor and the Indian River Lagoon System. Both the 1/4 oz. and 3/8 oz. sizes are available in Albino Shad and Chartreuse Shad. Twin packs retail for under $5.00.
