One of their most powerful units, the 1380 has been specifically engineered to be the quietest, most powerful 12-volt DC drive power unit to ever be put on fishing reels. The benefit of the 1380 is that anglers can attach this powerful drive to their existing equipment and are not forced to buy another reel just to go ‘electric.’ Plus, there is not another similar electric reel on the market that offers this much power at such an affordable price. With Momentary, Off and Run positions, the 1380 is a workhorse and is designed to power Shimano Tiagra 80 and 130 class reels as well as Penn 130 Internationals. The 1380 is available in two different speeds so anglers can tailor the drive to particular applications. The standard 1380-G and the 1380-GH (“H” for high-speed).
