Prop-Aid

Nothing ruins an exciting day on the water faster than a spun prop. The sudden rise of engine rpm and concurrent loss of speed that tells you the prop hub has been damaged will put a knot in the stomach of even the most experienced boaters.

nip-s07-propaid-p1.jpgThey know that to fix the problem, they’ll have to pull the prop and replace it with a spare. There simply is no other way. That is, if they even have one! And even if they do, damaged props don’t always slide easily off the prop shaft due to corrosion or damage from impact with foreign debris. You may be left waiting hours for an expensive tow back to the launch ramp.

Prop-Aid™ changes everything and now allows you to get underway in just minutes without having to remove the prop. Simply remove your locking nut and washer, insert the Prop-Aid in the exhaust cavity, replace the nut, and you are on your way!
Prop-Aid™ is intended for emergency use only. It is designed to allow you to operate the motor at up to 2,500 rpm so you can return to port under your own power. Best of all, Prop-Aid™ can be used over and over.
