For Immediate Release

JL Marine Systems, Inc. of Tampa introduces another breakthrough for boaters and anglers with its new Green Marine™ ISO 32 hydraulic fluid that provides operating performance exceeding petroleum-based fluids, yet has the distinct advantage of protecting valuable marine environments.

After establishing its very popular Power-Pole® Shallow Water Anchor, JL Marine is now helping boaters preserve natural eco-systems while assuring high performance of their hydraulic systems.

The anti-wear Green Marine ISO 32 hydraulic fluid is specifically designed to resist moisture, oxidation and rusting in both fresh and sea water environments – passing both the A and B Sequences of the ASTM D-665 Turbine Oil Rust Test. “Green Marine ISO 32 performs exceptionally well in the toughest marine applications,” states John Oliverio, President of JL Marine Systems, “and at the same time, it provides boat owners with the confidence that their favorite lakes and water ways will not be damaged or degraded by leaks from petroleum-based hydraulic fluids. This unique breakthrough provides performance, protection and preservation to those who want to green their boat.”

This new biodegradable hydraulic fluid saves energy, lowers green-house emissions, assures maintenance reliability and reduces dependence on foreign petroleum – “it’s a 4-way winner,” says Oliverio. Green Marine ISO 32 is domestically grown from non-genetically modified organisms (non-GMO’s) and is not subject to petroleum’s price and supply uncertainty. Our loyal customers are very dedicated toward maintaining a safe, pollution-free environment for marine life, keeping their boating equipment in top condition and keeping operating cost under control. In addition to providing the above benefits, Green Marine ISO 32 emits no harmful Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC’s) and is non-flammable – thereby improving boater safety and peace of mind.

“Boats today have multiple hydraulic systems, all with the potential to leak toxic fluids, not just in the open sea but in the most pristine and sensitive areas where fishermen fish and fish live. Our new line of biodegradable and renewable lubricants performs like synthetics,” Oliverio states, “and it’s non-toxic to fish”. This has great appeal to avid anglers who want to see fish and other marine life thrive and not be threatened by potential hydraulic fluid loss or leaks. Green Marine ISO 32 exceeds our demanding performance standards, while improving the environmental impact of sport fishing, so JL Marine will now include, at no additional cost, this marine-friendly hydraulic fluid with every new Power-Pole.

Our long-term goal is to dramatically reduce the amount of petroleum products needed to properly operate the various hydraulic systems used in boats today. Fishermen appreciate the fact that our Power Pole system practically eliminates the negative impact that traditional anchors can have on sensitive bottoms. By using Green Marine ISO 32 fluids, boaters can enhance their dedication toward preserving the breeding, feeding and living habitats of fish and other marine organisms. “We believe that you must protect what you have in order to assure a better future,” states Oliverio.
