12th Annual Dolphin Round Up

12th Annual Dolphin Tournament will Hook You Up!!!

Ft. Lauderdale, FL….Competition Tackle & Marine, Inc. of Fort Lauderdale is looking forward to their 12th Annual Dolphin Round Up to benefit HospiceCare of Southeast Florida, Inc.  This year’s exclusive auction and award winning prizes will entice a large turn out.  In the past, over 150 boats were on the water and hundreds of guests enjoyed the family atmosphere at the Awards Cookout.  The Tournament promises numerous prizes to happy anglers and families! 

Registration starts now!  The Dolphin Round Up, with entry of $165, includes four anglers per boat and four tickets to the Awards Cookout.  The Round Up casts off with a two day warm up the last two Sundays in May; 05/18 and

05/25. Participation in the Warm Up is FREE to anglers registered by May 18, 2008.  The top three fish will win CASH prizes. The Dolphin Round Up begins on June 1 and runs through June 28.  Teams will compete for 30 days and are allowed to weigh one fish per day.

Each fish must be larger than the last weighed to qualify, this allows for more cash & prizes.  The four largest Dolphin will win cash.  Sign up for the June Dolphin Round Up by May 31 before 8pm at Competition Tackle, 5011 S. State Rd. #7, Davie, Florida 33314.

The Awards Cookout will be held Sunday, June 29 from 1 to 6pm at the German-American Society, 6401 Washington Street, Hollywood, FL 33024.  Awards to be given out include Top Dolphin, Top Junior Angler, Top Women Angler, and much, much more.  Drawings include chances to win cash, trips and merchandise prizes! Admission including food is $12 for adults and $6 for children.  Tickets are available at the door.
