Century Boat Company Announces Million Dollar Club

PANAMA CITY, Florida., August 19, 2008 – Century Boat Company, Inc. is proud to recognize ten of its dealers as members of its exclusive “Million Dollar Club.” These top dealers were recently recognized during Century’s 2009 dealer meeting held in Sarasota, Florida.

“We have a tremendous dealer network that strongly believes in the Century product,” says Dean Burnett, Vice President/General Manager of Century Boat Company, Inc. “During these challenging times in the marine industry, Century continues to take a proactive approach to our business, and much of our success is attributed to our dealers,” says Burnett. Burnett added that Century recently completed a 20,000 expansion at its Panama City plant, positioning the company for future growth, including building larger Center Console. The “Million Dollar Club” dealers include, American Offshore Marina of Dania Beach, FL with sales of more than $4 million; Legendary Marine, with locations in Destin, Fort Walton Beach and Panama City, FL, and Orange Beach, AL, with sales of more than $4 million, and Indian Springs Marina of Largo, FL, with sales of more than $3 million.

Seven Century dealers were awarded for sales of more than $1 million, including, Wolcott Marine of Bonita Springs, FL; Ingman Marine, with locations in Placida, Bradenton and Port Charlotte, FL; BoatStuf, with locations in Harvey and Slidell, LA; Rudy Marine of Wilmington, NC; Matthews Marine of Bluffton, SC; Snowshed Ski & Marine of Mt. Sinai, NY, and Riverbend Marine of St. Augustine, FL.
