She features cold molded construction with Palm Beach quality and finish. Twin Cummins QSM11’s provide an economical 30 kt cruise with an estimated 450 mile range. In 2005, Bill Demchak put together an exceptional team to build hull number one. Bill started with Erwin Gerards at EG Designs of Jupiter, Florida to create his personal sportfisherman. He then added builders Tom Schaefer and Chet Darenberg to begin construction of hull number one at the Maximus facilities in Hampton Bays, New York. Maximus American Marine is a custom boat builder, able to accommodate custom designed sportfish yachts of almost any dimension. The 47 Maximus hull number one is a classic clean line day boat design with an open aft bulkhead and a modern fast hull. She was designed with attention to detail and fishability. She also features no raised engine boxes, allowing this hull to be easily adapted for an express or enclosed salon model.
