For Immediate Release "Chub Cay Announces 2009 Tournament Dates!”
Kaye Pearson, Chairman of Chub Cay Club Associates, Ltd., unveiled another quality line up of events at the exclusive Chub Cay Club in the Chub will once again host the second leg of The Bahamas Wahoo Championship, February 25-28, 2009. This Wahoo Tournament will be held under a completely revamped set of Championship rules and will be limited to boats with inboard engines only. Chub Cay is known for its fabulous Wahoo fishing and early reservations are suggested. Capping the season will be the longest continuously held Billfish Tournament in the Bahamas- The Chub Cay Member Guest Tournament. The dates are April 1-4, 2009. This venerable event brings together the Members of Chub Cay Club and their Guests in a competition which stresses sportsmanship and conservation. Applications to join the tournament as a guest participant will be considered. Please contact the tournament organizer for entry details. Kaye will once again be supported by his veteran tournament committee members comprising of Raul Miranda, Maura Brassil, and Stacy Daugherty. All Chub Cay 2009 tournaments will feature internet capability of following the tournament live, “on-line” thanks to a new program developed by Mike Bondurant and Associates.
