Totals: 15 Anglers 13 on Boats

The use of the lighter 12# test line is an advantage in gaining more points, (225) for each release than on the much heavier 30# test, which is awarded 150 points per release. The disadvantage is when you hook up a fish well over 100 pounds. Then all of the edge goes to the fish and makes the angling much more difficult. This is where skill comes in more so that just brut strength.
