Mary Eberhardt, Designer and Owner of The Pink Fishing Line created this label to fill a void in her own shopping bag. “Our family takes an annual trip to Islamorada and my husband and son fill their arms with t-shirts displaying their favorite fish. The girls and I left empty handed this year!” Mary quipped. “I’m just more finicky with the t-shirts I buy.” The Pink Fishing Line opens the fish box for many ladies and girls that love to fish, but are not the typical t-shirt customer. The designs are species specific, but not color specific. This is where Mary interjects her affection for trendy colors and chic, simple designs. “Mahi Mahi dolphin are beautiful fish, but a pink dolphin screams, ‘Pick me … I’m pink.’” Mary explains. These tees are easily dressed up for a casual Friday work day or pair them with flip flops for a more relaxed look. The energetic entrepreneur says, “The motto at our office is: Let’s create a product to make the buyer as happy on land as they are on the water!” Mary spent weeks trying on and selecting the perfect tee and working with graphic artist on her designs. The ladies fitted tee is cotton ribbed knit with a feminine, but delicate scoop neck. This t-shirt has a stretch that accentuates the ladies’ figure, and is opaque to hide what needs to be hidden. Since not all women are created equal, the ladies casual tee offers an alternative to the smoother fitted cut. This tee is made for women and still offers a contoured shape and long style.
