For Immediate Release

Jefferson Yachts will introduce a new 35’ Marlago Sport featuring a redesigned, streamlined console Feb. 14-18 at the Miami International Boat Show.

The newly redesigned Marlago will compliment Jefferson’s display featuring the 45’ Rivanna SE, 50’ Rivanna SE and 52’ Pilothouse SE in slips #313-316 at Sea Isle Marina. The Marlago Sport Open and Cuddy models will also be on display at Miami Convention Center.

Among the new features, available in both the Open and Cuddy models, is a redesigned console with space for a large electronics monitor and a new, streamlined, wrap-around design.

Manufactured by Jefferson Yachts in Jeffersonville, Ind., the Marlago has proven itself as a smooth-riding, high-performance sportcruiser. The trailerable Marlago is popular with anglers, couples and families that want a fast, sleek and seaworthy vessel that provides a stable platform for trophy fishing and watersports.

“The Marlago, mid-year changes are the result of a truly collaborative venture,” says Jefferson Yachts Vice President of Operations David Shaw, who notes that sales of Marlagos have remained strong through 2007. “We incorporated input from our dealers and customers to develop this redesign with a number of practical refinements. The results are a modern Marlago with a styled-up, incredibly refined console!”

The Marlago’s new console can accommodate today’s larger electronics screens. The wrap-around styling not only adds to the boat’s sporty look, it incorporates all the gauges and switches into one panel. A glove box has also been added on the passenger side. Several other Marlago refinements include the relocation of the battery switches from the foot rest area to a remote battery control panel which will provide easier control of the engine and house batteries.

With the versatile Marlago attracting a wide range of active boaters, it was natural for the redesign to develop several new, more comfortable optional seating packages that incorporate a 50 gallon live well or storage-only unit.

The live well seating package includes a flip-up bolster with dual, Garelick 930 helm seats. Or, you can select an adjustable leaning post that incorporates full-across storage under the cushion, 3 tackle drawers, cutting board and 5 rocket launchers across the back. The new 50-gallon live well assembly includes tackle trays to port and starboard and full across storage forward of the tank.

The 35-foot Marlago Sport Open provides sportsmen with a spacious platform from which to play “the big one.” Flexibility in anchor storage, optional seating and rod-holder arrangements as well as cavernous fish boxes make the Marlago Sport Open especially attractive to serious fishermen and tournament anglers.

The sleek, center console 35-foot Marlago Sport Cuddy offers a V-berth forward and a convertible bench seat in the cockpit. It also features a dinette, a full head with vanity and a pullout, freshwater shower.

Display Yachts:

2008 45’ Rivanna Sundeck Special Edition

The 45’ Rivanna SE Sundeck is the latest addition to Jefferson’s line of Special Edition motor yachts.

With virtually the same interior layout as the 42’ Rivanna SE, the 45’ Rivanna SE incorporates a swim platform designed to enhance water sports activities. The new transom features a molded staircase to the aft deck, allowing easy boarding from the stern. Safety is also enhanced by a removable stainless steel safety rail system.

Jefferson craftsmen utilize Nida CoreÒ construction in the decks, superstructure and engine room bulkheads…and traditional keel to gunnel hand-laid solid fiberglass construction in the hull. State-of-the-art engineering complements powerful, fuel-efficient twin Cummins QSB Quantum series engines.

The layout takes advantage of the full width by featuring a double-berth in the forward guest stateroom with shower and head, a fully-equipped u-shaped galley and dinette, and a spacious saloon with L-shaped sofa and entertainment center. The roomy

aft master stateroom features a queen bed, shower and tub, cedar-lined hanging lockers and teak satin finish bureau and cabinets.

A sampling of standard amenities includes an 8 KW Westerbeke generator with soundshield, sundeck wing doors and a host of electronics including radar, chart

plotter, GPS, VHF and optional autopilot. Additional standard equipment includes a flybridge bimini top and enclosure, washer/dryer combo unit, air conditioning with reverse cycle and heating, anchor windlass and furniture-quality teak satin finish on interior cabinetry and joinery.

2008 Jefferson 50’ Rivanna Special Edition

Jefferson’s 50’ Rivanna SE features a host of standard amenities, a highly refined interior, and exceptional exterior styling.

From helm to galley, rich teak satin cabinetry complements the airy, atrium-like saloon. The 50’ Rivanna SE’s exterior is virtually teak-free with 15’ beams on the aft stateroom and aft deck. A hardtop protects the wide aft deck, making it an ideal entertainment area.

Accommodations include a spacious aft master, a forward queen berth stateroom and a saloon entertainment area with flat screen TV and surround theatre.

An array of electronics includes radar, chart plotter, GPS, VHF and optional autopilot.

Jefferson equips the 50’ Rivanna SE with QSC-490 or QSC-540 engine packages. Cummins MerCruiser Diesel incorporates a high-press common rail fuel system that improves fuel economy and power-to-weight ration, virtually eliminates smoke and odor, and significantly reduces idle noise. The use of the common rail fuel system has allowed the QSC to significantly reduce white smoke levels at start up without the aid of air heaters. During acceleration, the common rail fuel system allows more torque to be delivered to the propeller without an increase in smoke.

The 52’ Pilothouse features many big ticket items as standard, including reverse cycle cruise heating and air conditioning throughout the interior, 15kw generator and comprehensive electronic packages. A host of additional “above standard” items include windlass, subzero refrigerator/freezer, ACR searchlight, dual station controls and a Glendinning cablemaster shore power cable.

The unique open design of the raised pilothouse allows plenty of room for entertaining and dining. The centerline master stateroom is a study in comfort combined with spatial economy. It features a flat screen TV and washer/dryer standard. The versatile master bath utilizes attractive Shoji panel doors to separate the head, vanity and shower. Forward stateroom accommodations include a full island centerline berth, TV and private entrance to a head with separate shower area.

The helm station provides ample space for an attractive and efficient electronics layout, which includes Jefferson’s SE standard package of radar, chart plotter, GPS, VHF and optional autopilot. From the lower helm station, exit aft to access a teak staircase that leads to the upper deck and flybridge. The comfortable, raised flybridge helm with generous L-shaped lounge seating provides “signature” panoramic views to forward.
