Miami, FL– In the spirit of being #FloridaStrong, Five Sportfishing, a high tech sportfishing apparel retail store located in Miami, has committed to donating a portion of all 2017 sales to various organizations for Irma victims.
“A sizeable segment of our customer base comes from the lower Keys and Florida Gulf coast region,” said Bryan Vreeland, CEO of Five Sportfishing. “Those areas sustained the worst impact from hurricane Irma. Since they have supported us since our beginning it is only right that we reciprocate that loyalty in this time of need.”
The latest charitable initiative is in addition to the several water conservation groups Five Sportfishing currently donates a portion of their total sales to annually, a commitment Vreeland says is baked into the fabric of the company’s core principles.
“With all the negative noise going on in the world today it’s easy to become distracted from the fact that the real truth is we only have each other,” Vreeland said. “No politician or celebrity is going to take care of our environment or our families, that’s on all of us. That’s what our company is fundamentally about and we make sure we walk that walk”
