The Canyon 271 design allows room for a huge, 389-quart lounge-style insulated box forward of the console with a divided dry storage area. Additionally, the box is covered with a cushioned top and seat back that provides spacious seating for long runs. Grady-White’s forward-facing patented fold away aft transom bench is perhaps the best seat on the boat and stows away in a snap for a great, roomy cockpit when the fishing gets hot. While the deluxe lean bar offers seating for two and ultimate helm control and visibility, it also doubles as a fishing center with a 42-gallon insulated raw water livewell aft of the helm area complete with a painted blue interior, light, acrylic window, full column distribution and overboard drain. Toss in knife and tool holders with a lockable tackle drawer, a second tackle locker with trays and even more net storage, plus four rod holders and you won’t have to leave anything at the dock. The lightest motor in its class—over 200 pounds lighter than the V8 300 it replaced— the new V6 F300 boasts improved fuel economy and performance thanks to incredible design advancements. Plasma-fused sleeveless cylinders shed substantial weight, while the 4.2 liter big-bore breathes easier thanks to newly designed and wider throttle, intake and exhaust valves. Additional weight-saving attributes include a composite oil pan and 70 amp alternator that sheds 6 pounds over the 45 amp predecessor. Paired with a Command Link Plus digital display and users have ultimate control for maximum efficiency and performance. Stronger, lighter and faster, Yamaha’s V6 F300 will take you places you never thought possible. Fish beware! Yahama,
