Well, I am afraid I have no actual “fishing” report; but do have a scallop report as Joyce and I had our limit in under 45 minutes, Saturday last, from 3.5 – 4 feet of water on low tide. The water was very dingy, quite stirred up, from all the boat traffic I imagine, with tannic stain thrown in for good measure. We would have been done in 20 minutes had the water been clear as we never got over 75 feet from the boat.

I was out of town for three days, so I have no fishing to report; however some information regarding the boat lift at Keaton Beach is in order. The Lift is down. Repairs are due to begin soon; but it is most likely there will be no operational boat lift this weekend at Sea Hag at Keaton; so best call first before you bypass the ramp if you have plans to be in the water at Keaton this weekend. The Marina’s number is 850.578.2897.
