32 Express Features
OBX builds a true Carolina design and features sweeping sheers, beautiful hull flare, transom tumblehome but most importantly an unmatched hull design that can take sea conditions that send most boats back to port. The new generation of OBX models are built with 100% fiberglass composite construction technology in lieu of our traditional wood construction and all new models are manufactured in High Point, NC in the previous manufacturing facility of Hatteras Yachts.

Fishing is the core focus of all OBX models, but our express boats are designed with the cruising family or couple in mind. The 32 Express interior is luxurious and constructed to yacht quality standards. It features a large convertible dinette, full galley, private head with separate shower and double berth accommodations. It will sleep a family of 4 in comfort. The helm deck features a centerline helm station and a large L shaped seating arrangement. Technology is designed into each boat and we are partnering with the industry innovators to achieve our “Tradition and Technology” goal. Each OBX is semi custom and designed with the client, so every owner has a boat that is unique to their tastes.

New Construction in Production
Under construction in the High Point manufacturing facility are two 32 Center Consoles. The next boat in production is designed purely for hard core offshore fishing with a charter focus in mind. The following 32 CC has the same core design principle of hard core fishing but with the family in mind. The 32 CC features a small cabin with sleeping accommodations, a small galley and head. Exterior seating is generous with console seating facing forward and bench seating at the bow with a table. The console features a helm center with two bolster helmseats, an aft facing bench and lots of storage for tackle and gear. There are 4 in deck fishboxes, 2 transom fishboxes and a 50 gallon live well standard. A new 26 and 40 are in the works for a 2015 introduction and we have partnered with Seakeeper on a demo boat that is available for test runs at most major boatshows.
