30th Anniversary Year Marks a Wave of Expansion and Innovation
Edenton, NC – In 1988, Regulator Marine set out to reinvent the deep-vee center console sportfisher with the introduction of the now-legendary Regulator 26. Today, the company celebrates 30 years of innovation with the introduction of its 2019 fleet and announcement of a 55,000 square foot factory expansion. The 2019 fleet advancements lead with the redesign of the Regulator 41, power upgrades to the Regulator 23 and 25, and enhanced fishing and lifestyle amenities on every model. The multi-phase factory expansion will be completed in early 2019, yielding an additional 43,000 square feet of assembly and lamination facilities and more office space to accommodate the company’s growing team.
“Introducing the new model year is always an exciting time for us because it is the culmination of another year of progress and another wave of fun for our customers,” said Joan Maxwell, president and co-founder of Regulator Marine. “This year is especially inspiring as we expand the factory and plan for evolution on every level. 2019 is sure to be a thrilling time in our history as we realize growth opportunities across manufacturing, job creation and innovation.”
Innovation is at the core of the all-new Regulator 41, with an expanded cabin, redesigned tower access, and updated features to meet every offshore need. An integrated wraparound windshield offers more protection at the helm. New aft mezzanine seat with prep and tackle center and overhead SureShade® provides additional cockpit seating without compromising fishing amenities. Powered by Yamaha’s all-new quad XF425 engines, with the added stability of the Seakeeper 6 stabilization system, the all-new Regulator 41 is sure to make waves when it launches this summer.
At the other end of the fleet, the Regulator 23 and Regulator 25 will now feature additional power options from Yamaha. The 2019 Regulator 23 features the option to upgrade to twin Yamaha F150 engines, while still offering the standard single Yamaha F300 engine. The 2019 Regulator 25 features the option to upgrade to twin Yamaha F250 engines, in addition to the standard twin Yamaha F200 engines.
