Ft. Lauderdale, FL -Sailorman, a new and used marine store located on State Road 84 in Fort Lauderdale since 1982, will move 5 blocks south on Andrews Avenue to a larger showroom in late June 2017. The new location will be at 3000 S. Andrews Avenue, the corner of Southeast 30th Street and Andrews Avenue, a mere 3 minutes away from the current site.
The current home to Sailorman was purchased back in October by a hotel chain. The agreement permitted Sailorman until the end of June to vacate.
Sailorman plans to remain open at its current location until late June. The store is planning a moving sale and auction event on Sat. May 20th. A selection of inventory, which will not be moved, will be liquidated. While firm plans are not in place, it is likely the new location will open for business after the 4th of July holiday.
