Redefining what’s possible in a bay boat, the SeaVee 270Z represents a dramatic advance for inshore and near-shore anglers looking to fish distant waters in style and comfort. An abundance of storage lockers and coolers are ergonomically located throughout the boat, with all deck hatches featuring a smooth underside finish. Under gunnel lockers provide ample space for fly rods up to 9 feet, with eight additional vertical rod holders along the sides of the console. Gear, tackle and bait storage isn’t an issue no matter how obsessive you are, with fore and aft 24- and 30-gallon pressurized livewells, 75-gallon fishboxes in the port and starboard bow, 107-gallon dry storage compartment at the centerline bow, and additional twin 17-gallon release wells in the stern. Furthermore, all hatches are gasketed with deep channels that self drain overboard.
With industry leading resin infusion and hull coring materials and techniques, SeaVee is able to keep the weight to a minimum while also providing incredible structural integrity with the hull and deck completely infused with stringers and bulkheads. Additionally, the cored unibody construction results in reduced VOC emissions, a higher quality laminate, and incredible durability. In fact, SeaVee offers a 10-year hull warranty. The 270Z is available with single or twin power, and unlike the larger SeaVee models you’ll notice the absence of a splash well. This dramatically increases the space on the aft deck, with motor mounted on a hydraulic jack plate and plenty of room for single or twin shallow water anchoring devices.
