Shallow Sport X3

For years, Shallow Sport has been providing true inshore junkies with unique platforms specifically designed to idle, run and fish in the shallowest lakes and bays. Common along Texas flats and bays, the newest Shallow Sport is set to turn heads along Florida’s expansive backcountry venues. Unlike many boat manufacturers who falsely state wild claims, this 25-footer actually drafts less than six inches at cruising speed and can jump on plane in 12 inches without tearing up the bottom.

Shallow Sport X3

Such impressive shallow running attributes are a direct result of the X3’s unique hull design. Unlike previous Shallow Sport models, the X3 features a multi-strake tri hull tunnel design that enables anglers to cross wind blown bays and cut through stiff chop on the way to the shallowest arenas where game fish once fed without harassment from adventurous anglers. This design breaks up chop much better than a completely flat bottom hull and forces water into the tunnel to keep the motor from overheating. It also provides an incredibly tight turning radius by eliminating cavitation so you won’t lose propulsion and stay on plane.

All Shallow Sports are constructed with 100 percent hand laid E-Glass to ensure maximum strength and guaranteed quality. The beefy, over built stringer is glassed to the hull, then foam filled for unsinkable flotation and unquestionable strength. The one-piece molded deck liner is then bonded to the stringer and hull, resulting in a super rigid boat that’s built to last. A long list of standard amenities includes a 25 gallon livewell with 500 GPH pump, welded aluminum leaning post with folding footrest and rod holders, and elevated aluminum cooler rack with 125 quart Yeti. A 10-inch hydraulic jack plate is also included in the package. Popular options include a Power-Pole shallow water anchoring device, 13-inch raised console and bow casting platform. With a perfect combination of deck space, shallow drafting and big water abilities, this skinny water sled is incredibly nimble yet provides the stability of a floating dock.
