Tampa Bay Fishing Report:
Labor Day weekend signal the start of fall for most of the country, but here in Florida we usually have another month or two of hot weather. I guess the fish think it falls too.
There are redfish schools on almost every flat, the snook are coming back in from the beachs and we are starting to catch some nice size speckled trout on the flats.
Bait seems to be everywhere as well, load up on bait, work the mullet schools on any flat and you should find plenty of action.
You can also still fish the edge of the bait pods in deeper water for nice catches of mackerel, bluefish, mangrove snapper, sharks and just about anything else that swims in Tampa Bay!
We should continue to see these fishing patterns until late October when traditionally our first cold front arrives.
Get out there and enjoy this time of year!
